The Dryad Collection
Found in the quiet of the forest, shaped by hand in reverence — these sculptures hold the presence of spirits long-hidden, now revealing themselves to those who still listen. The process:
Each sculpture in the Dryad Collection begins with a walk through the woods. The pieces of wood I gather are found, not altered—chosen for their quiet shapes, their hidden stories, the way they seem to hum with something ancient. I do not carve or cut them. Instead, I build in clay, coaxing a spirit form to life as it rises from the wood—one that feels as though it has always belonged there. The figure emerges slowly, shaped by instinct, memory, and a reverence for the natural world. Once complete, the wood is sealed to preserve its integrity before the entire form is carefully molded, cast, and hand-finished. Every step is guided by touch and intention, grounding the ethereal in the tangible—where nature and soul meet in form.
